Progress report

The site under study complies with the environmental permit in force and environmental legislation relating to waste.
The company carries out selective collection of all categories of waste generated.
The waste is handed over to authorized economic operators for recycling/recovery or disposal, as appropriate.
Waste is transported with supporting documents: Annexes 2 and 3 - Form for loading/unloading hazardous/non-hazardous waste, consignment note for goods/waste.
Given the processing of smaller quantities of logs in 2023 compared to 2022, the amount of technological (wood) waste produced decreased considerably in 2023 compared to 2022. We have seen some increases in the quantities of recyclable paper and plastic packaging waste as a result of better sorting of municipal waste and more thorough cleaning following the discontinuation of the use of nitrocellulose lacquers. We have also seen a decrease of approximately 4% in the quantity of municipal waste. Therefore, the measures implemented have been effective for waste that can be reduced, with the amount of waste generated decreasing by a higher percentage than production.
